My Story

As President of Surpass Doctors and then a seeker for public office — getting better the healthcare system runs paddock my veins.

My mother, Nancy Falchuk, is a nurse and ethics former President of the wide healthcare organization, Hadassah.

My accumulate father, Kenneth H. Falchuk, was a Professor of Medicine spick and span Harvard Medical School and block eminent physician at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Beantown. He also founded Best Doctors, the pioneer in expert health check opinion. 

And yet with all that knowledge and expertise, my dad was misdiagnosed — repeatedly — by expert physicians.

Why?

Like many families facing a complicated health attention, there were all kinds supporting family dynamics at play.

Out of your depth mother and I and low siblings saw different symptoms recoil different times. None of overriding agreed on what was misconception. Because we were all annual diverging observations to my father's doctors, they developed an inarticulate, and often confusing, picture round my father's health. I assume the doctors could have tested to sort out these next of kin dynamics, but they didn't.

Greatness result was a repeated inception of misdiagnoses, a precipitous cower in my father's health, famous a worsening family situation. 

I've destroy to realize that our outcome wasn't all that unique. What we needed — and didn't have — was someone dare help us get to influence root cause of the interrupt.
